This policy governs the use of AI-generated content in the Audiology Community forum.
Disclosure required
Members who post content that was substantially generated by an AI tool (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) must disclose this clearly at the start of the post. Presenting AI-generated content as your own original writing or personal experience is prohibited.
Medical information
AI-generated medical or health information must not be posted without independent verification by a qualified professional. AI tools can produce plausible-sounding but inaccurate medical content. Members are responsible for the accuracy of what they post.
Personal experiences
AI tools may not be used to fabricate personal hearing experiences, patient stories, or professional testimonials. All first-person accounts must reflect genuine experience.
Moderation
Moderators may remove AI-generated content that is undisclosed, inaccurate, or used to simulate community activity. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
Audiology.md use of AI
Audiology.md may use AI tools to assist with content moderation, spam detection, or editorial drafting. Any AI-assisted content published by Audiology.md is reviewed and approved by a human editor before publication.
