Advertising and Self-Promotion Policy

The Audiology Community is an educational and peer-support space, not a marketplace. This policy governs commercial activity and self-promotion.
Prohibited commercial activity
The following are prohibited in all forum categories: unsolicited advertising or promotional posts; affiliate links or referral codes; solicitation of patients, clients, or customers; promotion of specific products, clinics, or services for commercial gain; paid placement or sponsored content presented as organic discussion.
Professional identification
Verified professionals may identify their credentials and general area of practice in their profile and when relevant to a discussion. They may not use the forum to recruit patients or promote their practice commercially.
Industry participants
Employees of hearing aid manufacturers, technology companies, or other industry organizations must disclose their affiliation when participating in discussions related to their employer's products or services.
Classifieds and direct sales
The Audiology Community does not support classifieds, device sales, or person-to-person transactions. Do not post items for sale.
Enforcement
Posts that violate this policy will be removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
