Audiology.md standards

Provider directory standards

Our directory is designed to help people find clear, useful hearing-care information while keeping provider visibility separate from clinical and editorial judgment.

How directory information is handled

Accurate, useful profiles

Provider profiles should present clear practice, professional, service, location, and contact information for patients.

Independent editorial standards

Directory inclusion or paid visibility does not create a medical endorsement, clinical ranking, or editorial recommendation.

Clear paid-placement labels

Paid placements are labeled Sponsored or Featured, as appropriate, so patients can distinguish them from editorial content.

Patient-first presentation

We aim to make provider information understandable and useful for people researching hearing care.

Visibility is not a clinical endorsement

Providers cannot purchase favorable medical reviews, rankings, or editorial recommendations. Audiology.md maintains a clear separation between provider services, directory visibility, and independent patient guidance.

Keeping profiles current

Profile owners can review and update core practice information. Audiology.md may review submissions to support accuracy, consistency, and a useful patient experience.
